Live Call-in Show: GAKS Minion Cast #3 June 12th 5pm Eastern
Our next live call-in show is coming up on...
Sunday June 12th at 5pm Eastern time.
Everyone is invited to join in and take part in the call or you can just call in and listen live as we record if you prefer.
Our plan is to have a 60 minute call where the first 30 minutes are spoiler free so we'll only discuss things that have occurred in Buffy up to the point that the GAKS crew have released episodes for so that would be Season 3 Episode 11 'Gingerbread'.
The final 30 minutes of the show are wide open to any Buffy topics. We will be sure to let everyone know when we're moving into spoiler territory so folks can leave the call if they'd like to.
Members of the GAKS crew may be joining us for some of the call. The hosts/moderators for this first call will be Kevin B, Robin B and Stephanie S.
Please be aware that we are learning as we go so things may not go as smoothly as we'd like in our early calls. Please be patient.
There are a couple of different ways to join in on the fun.
The simplest and most reliable way to join in is to call via your home phone, your cell phone or via Skype using Skype credit. The biggest downside to this option is that, depending on your calling plan, you may incur long distance charges. The phone number is in the state of Pennsylvania in the US.

Another option is to visit the link below and use the "Shoe Phone" which is the Talk Shoe VOIP (Voice Over IP) software which allows you to connect to the call over the Internet on your computer.
Please keep in mind that in our initial tests this option worked for some of our testers but not all. We're not in a position to troubleshoot why it does or doesn't work. Those folks that did have success with this were running Firefox on Windows PCs. Remember that "your mileage may vary". As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for" and this is a free service. :)

What Is The GAKS Minion Cast?
Welcome Potential Cast listeners!
Our plan for the GAKS Minion Cast is to do a regular (likely monthly) live call-in show where Potential Cast listeners can get together to talk about the Potential Cast and Buffy in general.
Everyone who is a fan of the podcast is invited to join in or just listen in. We will also be recording the calls so they can be released as a podcast in case you can't join us live. Folks can call-in live or text chat to send in questions.
We're still in the process of testing out what service we will be using with the goal of finding the easiest and least expensive way that the most people can be involved. We're also planning out how the calls/shows will be run so please bear with us as we experiment.
The plan is to do 60 minute calls where the first 30 minutes are spoiler free. That means we will only talk about the Buffy/Angel episodes up to wherever the GAKS crew is in their viewing schedule. The last 30 minutes is wide open to any Buffy topic.
Your rag tag group of call moderators initially will be Kevin B, Robin B and Stephanie S. As things progress we will likely bring other call moderators into the group. Everyone is invited to join in.
